Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- Master’s Degree or MBA highly advantageous
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in operations management
- Proven track record in a senior leadership role, preferably within a medical or related industry
- Ability to analyze complex operational issues and develop effective solutions
- Analytical thinking
- Proven ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Ability to drive innovation and change within the organization
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent strategic planning and project management abilities
- Proficient in financial management and budgeting
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Key Performance Areas:
- Operational strategy and planning:
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company’s objectives
- Design and oversee the execution of business plans to meet company goals
- Process management:
- Ensure all operational processes are streamlined and efficient
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement methodologies
- Warehouse management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse
- Ensure the correct use and management of the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Report on operational aspects of the warehouse to senior management
- Ensure the team processes store orders timeously
- Ensure the team correctly receives and stores stock from all suppliers
- Team leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team
- Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous learning
- Financial management:
- Manage the operations budget, ensuring cost-effective operations
- Monitor financial performance and implement corrective measures as needed
- Assist the finance team with stock takes to ensure accurate stock reporting
- Compliance and risk management:
- Ensure all operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements
- Develop risk management strategies to minimize operational risks
- Performance monitoring:
- Set performance targets and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Report on operational performance to senior management and stakeholders
- Customer and supplier management:
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers and suppliers
- Ensure customer satisfaction and address operational issues promptly
