Qualifications / Requirements:
- Matric
- Hyster licence
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in warehouse environment
- Good communication skills
- Planning skills
- Time management skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Good product knowledge
- Numeracy
- Good general warehouse practice
Key Performance Areas:
- Monitor the temperature of the warehouse building
- Assemble all orders received from warehouse requisition
- Deliver all assembled orders to the correct shelves
- Maintain good wholesale practice
- Perform routine checks to confirm any urgent or agent orders that needs bulk or case lots
- Pack stock on the receiving floor accordingly using the forklift
- Rotate bulk stock and the different batches according the expiry dates
- Participate in good housekeeping practice
- Receive instructions as to stock controlling and frozen products or upliftment of stock
- Participate in weekly and monthly stock takes
- Comply with OHSACT
