Qualifications / Requirements:
- Matric
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in supplier claims returns/receiving process knowledge or policy / MS
- Word and Excel knowledge
- Good product knowledge
- Numeracy
- Good general warehouse practice
- Communication skills
- Planning skills
- Time management skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Office admin experience advantageous
- Oracle system experience advantageous
Key Performance Areas:
- Liaise with customer credit department aspect by monitoring complaints, claims, credits are timeously responded to
- Liaise with the Procurement Department with regard to queries received and follow up on responses
- Monitor and follow up with the suppliers on credit returns i.e., expired stock, products complaints and errors etc
- Monitor the booking outs of stock by raising claims with suppliers, Representatives or agencies
- Participate in the weekly or annual stock-take activities for the entire warehouse
- Complete the claims documentation of the previous day before proceeding to current
- Keep register of goods returned and confirm this as accurate
- Draw recall invoices and send back to suppliers
- Liaise with Buyers and gain authorization concerning return policy on promotions and expired goods
- Arrange for upliftment of authorized
- Comply to OHS ACT
