A dynamic opportunity exists for a commercially astute and results driven professional to take full ownership of sales strategy, revenue growth and market expansion within a competitive FMCG environment.
Company is looking for an individual for succession planning, with long-term tenure in mind.
Minimum qualifications and experience:
• Ideal candidate will have been a General Manager with a strong Sales Management focus / run their own successful business, within a FMCG environment
• Degree or Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business, or related field
• Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing high value deals from initiation to implementation
• Strong commercial acumen with sound financial understanding

Key performance areas:
• Sales leadership and strategy
• Lead, mentor and performance manage the sales team to achieve and exceed volumes, margins and revenue targets
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned to overall business objectives
• Drive accountability, productivity and high performance culture across the division
• Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions
• Expand market share through strategic partnerships and aggressive market penetration
• Identify emerging market trends and position the business competitively
• Manage and grow key customer accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships
• Strengthen supplier relationships to support growth and operational efficiency
• Represent the company at expos, conferences and industry events to enhance brand presence
• Provide strategic input on product branding, sizing, repositioning and market alignment
• Manage sales financials including GP, budgets, forecasts and performance statistics
• Present comprehensive, data-driven sales reports and strategic insights at Director level meetings
• Drive profitability through sound financial oversight and margin management
