Key Performance Areas:
Implement and coordinate HSE elements of the Business Operating System:
- Implement and coordinate the Company HSE management system and promotes health and safety compliance on sites
- Monitor and adhere to legislative standards and regulations
- Vetting and approval of contractor HSE documentations, make recommendations as required (Inc training) and monitor compliance through audit process
- Correct unsafe acts or conditions and advise site management accordingly
- Assist in the preparation and review of HSE documentation and maintain positive health and safety communication on projects
- Compile project specific emergency preparedness plans and review effectiveness thereof
- Assist in the maintaining of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification
- Mitigate relevant hazards and risk through regular site inspections and self-assessment audits
- Coordinate and case manage all project related incidents and compiles reports
- Monitor all risk-based assessment documentation
- Investigate and attends to workers’ HSE related complaints/queries
Support site staff and ensure improvement and professional development:
- Monitor and guide team performance in alignment to role profiles
- Sharing of knowledge and best practices to achieve team collaboration
- Ensure team alignment with company policies and code of conduct
- Mentoring and assist junior staff under his/her control without derogating from own responsibilities
- Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development and encourages and enable junior staff to do the same

Provide competitive and financial advantage through improved efficiencies and reduced costs:
