Job Position: Internal Sales and Shipping

Excellent opportunity for a young, dynamic, self-driven individual, who is open to being trained up in an internal position to eventually being groomed for an external sales consultant and shipping controller role.
Qualifications / Requirements:
• Minimum of Matric/Grade 12
• Valid Driver’s License
• Minimum of 2 years professional working experience in a similar sales position with reasonable geographic knowledge
• Capacity to take onboard and retain large volumes of information
• Ability to work independently and perform well under pressure
• Excellent communication, organisational and costing skills
• Very well groomed and presentable in appearance
• Proficient in English and Afrikaans (written and verbal)
• Ability to generate creative solutions with excellent problem-solving skills
• Computer literate, in particular Excel, Word and Outlook
• Detail oriented and resourceful
Shipping (in-house training will be provided)
• Knowledge of export and import clearing experience in coordinating freight logistics will be advantageous
• Support the sales role by ensuring that all shipments are executed correctly
• Communication with shipping companies to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
• Knowledge and basic understanding of South African and international customs clearance laws, procedures and regulations for freight forwarding
