Qualifications / Requirements:
• Matric / Grade 12
• Qualified Motorcycle Technician (QCTO)
• Minimum 2 years’ post-trade test experience working as a qualified Motorcycle Technician
• Proven hands-on experience in the servicing, maintenance, diagnosis and repair of motorcycles
• Ability to accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
• Good understanding of motorcycle systems, components and workshop procedures
• Computer literate
• Valid driver’s licence

Key Performance Areas:
• Carrying out scheduled servicing and routine maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
• Conducting thorough inspections and identifying potential issues before they become major problems
• Carrying out fault-finding using appropriate diagnostic equipment and technical information
• Ensuring all motorcycles are roadworthy, safe and mechanically sound before being released
• Conducting pre-delivery inspections and quality-control checks
• Fitting and replacing motorcycle components, accessories and related equipment
• Accurately recording work completed, parts used and additional repairs required
• Communicating any additional technical requirements or faults identified during servicing
• Taking responsibility for tools, equipment and workshop assets
