Qualifications / Requirements:

• Good communication skills in speaking and writing
• Strong telephone etiquette and confidence when dealing with suppliers
• Ability to work under pressure, especially with urgent parts requirements
• Must be organised and detail-oriented
• Must be able to follow set procedures and SOP’s
• Basic computer literacy
• Previous experience in trucks parts sourcing, procurement, stock control, workshop administration, or a similar role will be an advantage
• Automotive parts knowledge beneficial
• Valid drivers license required

Key Performance Areas:

• Source parts from suppliers and service providers
• Call companies to obtain prices, availability, and lead times
• Place orders for required parts accurately and on time
• Follow up on urgent parts orders to ensure quick delivery
• Maintain clear communication with suppliers and internal teams

Ensure all sourcing and ordering processes are followed according to company SOP’s

• Keep proper records of quotations, orders, and delivery updates
• Escalate delays or supplier issues where necessary
• Assist in ensuring the workshop and operations teams receive parts with minimal downtime
• Call around for best prices at different suppliers
