Qualifications / Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing / Business
- Strong, competitive and well-aligned Sales Management experience, with proven performance in negotiating and closing deals (handling from cradle to grave) and leading a team to success
- FMCG industry experience, essential
- Confident extrovert with exceptional networking and relationship-building skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Highly competitive, dynamic, resilient and articulate, with strong negotiating ability
Key Performance Areas
- Lead, mentor and drive the sales team to achieve volumes, targets, margins and all key sales deliverables
- Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities (mergers and acquisitions)
- Manage and engage key customer accounts
- Provide input on product branding, sizing and market alignment
- Represent the business at expos, conferences and industry events
- Present comprehensive sales reports and insights at Director-level meetings
- Support supplier and customer relationship management
- Manage Sales financials (stats, GP, budgets, forecasts)
