Job Position: Transport Supervisor

Location: Germiston/Elsburg

Salary: R25 000 – R35 000 per month commensurate with experience

Working hours: 6 AM – 5 PM Monday to Friday and weekends if required – will be on 24/7 standby

 

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Valid drivers license essential
  • Must live close enough to Elsburg
  • Will manage 3 shift operation that runs 24/7 (must be willing to be on standby)
  • Needs to have scheduling / supervising / yard / trucking / transport experience
  • Experience in general operations in trucking/transport environment
  • Strong supervisory experience, essential
  • Strong, confident, assertive, resilient, no-nonsense, sharp
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to step in for Controllers, if needed
  • Checking of info relating to trucks
  • Overseeing the loading and offloading of trucks
  • Investigating of accidents
  • Preparing of reports and ensure total accuracy
